Job description, responsibilities and duties

This position is responsible for: Managing the Finance team and perform Spisska and Italy interface with Plants Business Units regarding finance processes and demands, ensuring that the services provided by his/her team are aligned with the Business Unit’s needs.



MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Give numeric consistency for the building of the base goal for strategic planning/deployment of directives through the necessary feedback, as well as the providing of alternatives in current or predictable situations.
Assure the elaboration of challenging budget plans and watch over the fulfilling of them through the best market practices (integrated matrix management, Operational Performance Diagnosis), performing the follow-up of results and acting on the organs and people involved
Assure the elaboration of the long and short-term economical and financial projections through the continuous and active coordination of correlated activities.
Create, standardize and provide proper tools for cost analysis, participate of and financially support projects from different areas in order to optimize decisions on expenses/investments and collaborate with cost reduction.
Produce management information about performance, making them properly available so that it is possible to evaluate the profitability of the units, their customers/products and result indicator
Contribute to the development of controller activities in other plants through the spread of the best practices.
Assure the production/analysis of the accounting result through the follow-up/definition of standards and interpretation of the law.
Watch over the correct calculation of taxes and management/insurance of Slovakia Plant.
Coach, further develop the human potential and technical skills of the finance team by exposing them with the new challenges. Focus on the team result achievments and spirit of winning. Broader cooperation of the finance team with the other areas in order to ensure the best practices reflected in result achievement and shareholder’s expectations.
Exposing and joining the financial experts within the organization and other Embraco plants in order to strengthen diversity and overall commitment and best practices
