Job description, responsibilities and duties

GBS Finance Analyst/Specialist - Costing will execute finance processes and deliver services and results to the business units (internal clients).

Main duties

• Participation on month-end-closing process including:
- Execution of Controlling Checks to ensure the system and accounting readiness for the closing
- Apportionment and Allocation of costs based on the plant's requirements
- Execution of Product cost controlling process including revaluation of actual and consumed Inventory on both Balance sheet and P&L (CO-PC process)
- Execution of Profitability analysis for sales, ensuring the proper expenses allocation on material and customer level in the P&L (CO-PA)
- Running the monthly update of the effective costs of the products
• Execution of spot requests on material master data and periodic revaluation of planned prices on products
• Participation on maintenance of cost structure in SAP (cost centers, balance sheet / P&L accounts, etc.)
• Responsibility for monthly reconciliations of Inventory accounts
• Supporting the process in company or individual projects, and ad hoc analysis on demand
• Supporting the internal and external audits
• Communication and collaboration with local finance area
• Recommending and development processes to enhance and improve efficiencies within the cost accounting function
• Standardization and optimalization of the processes – Definition and Execution
