GBS Finance Specialist - Accounting (Maternity cover)

GBS Finance Specialist – Accounting will be responsible for executing specific finance processes and delivering services and results to the business units (internal clients). She/he will act as an internal consultant regarding finance processes, supporting the business with the necessary expertise for the Finance SSC operation.

GBS Finance Specialist will be responsible for:
- executing processes efficiently, on-time and with quality
- performing daily activities oriented to service level achievement
- identifying and implementing opportunities of continuous improvement on the performed activities

Main duties:
- Act as a contact person with business units / internal clients
- Accounting according to Slovak and international rules (IFRS, US GAAP)
- Processing, monitoring and financial control of accounting transactions based on the specification
- Verification and finalization of documents for financial statements preparation
- Perform Accounting activities based on the Internal Clients requests and Internal Instructions
- Ensure that all activities are done with accuracy, timely and in compliance with company policy
- Balance sheet accounts reconciliations
- Regular pre-closing, closing and post closing activities
- Participation on standardization of accounting processes
- Cooperation with auditors: external and internal
- Focal point for team members and support for Leader
- leading project of automation and robotization
