Job description, responsibilities and duties
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to take ownership of day-to-day logistics and stock control activities. Reporting directly to the Supply Chain Manager, this role plays a key part in ensuring smooth goods movement, accurate inventory, and timely communication across departments and suppliers.
This is a frontline, execution-focused position — you won’t manage a team, but you will be the person making sure materials move where and when they should. Reliability, structure, and a hands-on mindset are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Logistics Coordination
Organize and monitor incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
Communicate effectively with transport companies, suppliers, and internal teams.
Track shipments and resolve any delivery issues or delays.
Stock Control
Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock checks.
Oversee stock movements, including inbound and outbound transactions.
Identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
Shipping & Receiving
Supervise the receipt, inspection, and documentation of goods.
Prepare shipping documents, labels, and customs paperwork as needed.
Ensure proper packaging and handling of goods for shipment.
Process Improvement
Assist in optimizing warehouse and logistics processes to enhance efficiency.
Contribute ideas to improve stock management and shipment procedures.
