About Us:
Ective Automation specializes in Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions, helping businesses automate routine tasks to improve efficiency and reduce costs. We are seeking a skilled Scrum Master to support and guide a team of RPA developers, ensuring that Agile principles are followed, team members are supported, and projects are delivered successfully.
Role Summary:
The Scrum Master will drive Agile processes for a team of approximately 10 RPA developers, managing daily workflows and fostering a productive team environment. In addition to core Scrum responsibilities, this role includes people management tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and organize Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Ensure the team’s adherence to Agile principles and best practices, coaching members to continuously improve processes and outcomes.
- Collaborate closely with the Product Owner to manage and prioritize the product backlog, aligning it with strategic objectives and project timelines.
- Proactively identify and remove impediments that may impact the team’s ability to meet sprint goals, while maintaining a focus on delivering high-quality work.
- Act as a liaison between the development team and stakeholders, facilitating clear communication and managing expectations.
- Track and report on team progress, Agile metrics, and sprint performance, keeping stakeholders informed and identifying areas for improvement.
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with team members to discuss their workload, well-being, performance, and career aspirations.
- Oversee the allocation of team members to various projects based on skills, availability, and project requirements, effectively balancing workloads.
- Provide structured feedback to team members and conduct performance evaluations.
- Develop individualized career growth plans in collaboration with team members, identifying training opportunities and resources for professional development.
- Address and resolve team conflicts constructively, maintaining a positive and collaborative team culture.
Desired Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in a Scrum Master role, ideally within software development or RPA fields, with a proven track record of driving Agile processes and principles.
- Proven experience in managing, mentoring, and developing a team, particularly in a technical setting.
- Skilled in fostering a collaborative team environment and leading teams through Agile transformations.
- Experience communicating with customers and stakeholders, with the ability to articulate project goals and manage expectations.
- Familiarity with resource planning, performance evaluation, and workload balancing in a fast-paced environment.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification.
- Advanced knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and experience implementing them.
- Familiarity with RPA tools and technologies is a strong advantage.
- Proficiency in Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
- Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile principles.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to inspire, motivate, and support team members to achieve their best.
- Excellent communication skills for both team collaboration and stakeholder interactions.
