Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

- Respond to, and answer customer telephone inquiries in a timely manner as part of the daily business
- Maintain master customer data in respective systems
- Prepare offers and quotations in order to respond to customers inquiries and follow up in order to maximize order entry in cooperation with external sales
- Book and check customer’s orders (i.e. part numbers, prices, delivery payment terms, address, other major information) in a timely and correct way in order to optimize internal costs and to ensure customer is supported in an optimal manner
-Has joint responsibility for revenue and gross margin with focus on a selected number of customers
-May perform proactive backlog management (monitoring of orders, shipping dates, price changes, etc.
-Inform customers about possible delivery delay suggesting alternatives if available
- Coordinate technical questions with FSE, FAE or other service functions
- Support Account Manager / FSE collecting and preparing responses to customer’s inquiries, anticipating requests for quotations or others
- Request information from customers concerning price, competition, etc, in order to support - Asset to negotiate best price with suppliers
- Interface with internal support groups like Customer Service, Purchasing/Procurement, Warehouse, Credit & Collections, Quality when needed
- Participate in team meetings, in-house trainings and selected supplier trainings
- Manage customer concerns and claims and may register in the applicable system
- Review and update reports as required
- Occasionally visit assigned customers with FSE/AM in order to improve customer relationship
- Handle samples requests from customers and provide follow-up as part of active demand creation process
- May participate in sales promotional activities

Good English language skills (oral and in writing) in order to fulfill internal requirements
