Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are looking for the experienced Hygiene Manager who will be responsible for supporting good Health and Safety practices within the Food Manufacturing process, through the development of the cleaning processes and equipment used, and training provided. Daily activities can include identifying potential areas of risk and providing training to the workers in production plant of packed sushi products.

A Hygiene manager performs the following tasks:

- To ensure all aspects of the hygiene service are carried out and maintained to the required standard
- To provide training and awareness for all hygiene and waste handling staff in all procedures relevant to their role
- To maintain detailed cleaning instructions and schedules for every hygiene activity that meet the requirements of the BRC food safety standard
- To be responsible for the effective delivery of the laundry service - to ensure every employee gets the working clothes, protective equipment, lockers
- To implement, monitor and develop HACCP processes
- To cooperate with management and production team in compliance with quality standards
- Supply Chain Management - to communicate with suppliers

Working time:
- 2 weeks day shift + 2 weeks night shift

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Educational Specialization

Food Hygiene, Food Industry, Food Safety and Quality

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2) or German - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

• Knowledge of food and hygiene regulations
• Previous experience in a similar position

• Strong problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure
• Strong problem solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Active English or German language (written and spoken)
