About the role

On this role you will be expected to design and implement enterprise-grade SAP integration solutions using SAP BTP integration suite and API-led architecture. Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to enable secure, scalable, and high-performance integrations beteen SAP and non-SAP systems.

Daily challenges

• Design and govern API proxies in SAP BTP API Management end-to-end — not just create them, but architect a scalable, maintainable proxy landscape with consistent naming conventions, domain-scoped credential segmentation, and KVM-based runtime resolution 

• Understands API policies deeply: OAuth/SAML flow, JWT validation, spike arrest, quota enforcement, mediation, and caching policies written in API proxy flows

• Comfortable with KVM (Key Value Maps) as a metadata control plane for routing, rather than embedding routing logic in proxy code 

• Designing and implementing iFlows for real-world integration scenarios: SOAP, REST, OData, SFTP, RFC/BAPI

• Message mapping (graphical and XSLT), content modifier, router, exception handling patterns

• Security configuration: credential stores, OAuth2 client credentials, certificate-based auth

• Understanding the relationship between CI and API

eXperience and skills required

• Degree or equivalent experience in computer science, computer engineering or related discipline, preferred

• S/4HANA integration experience — knowing which APIs (OData v4, SOAP, RFC) to use for which scenarios and when to go through CI vs. direct API Management passthrough

• Hands-on CPI (CI) iFlow development

• Solid understanding of BTP integration architecture

• Newman/Postman for API testing and automated validation of proxy endpoints

• Any exposure to ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) for understanding how S/4HANA exposes custom APIs

• Fluency in English

We offer salary from 3,500 EUR/month. Salary can be higher depending on experience and skillset.
