Cloud and Platform Services are covering most of the Infrastructure and Platform related offerings within DXC. It goes from traditional IT environment through Cloud infrastructure to highly automated PaaS offerings related to Containerized application or SAP as PaaS.

As an integral part of this service line is the Migration Services. The mission for this organization is to guide and assist our clients on their journey to new modern solutions. By employing cutting edge technologies and utilizing the unique skills and talents of our employees, we are migrating and transforming the current clients’ workloads into new future model of operations. Essential piece of puzzle in this complex process is Database and Data migration.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Execute Migration activities according to predefined runbooks
• Participate on project meetings according to area of expertise
• Solve non-complex issues related to the migration activity
• Cooperate with other teams on dependencies affected by the migration activities
• Cooperate with Migration Architects on process or solution improvement base on day-to-day experience

What we expect?
Technical Skills:

• Basic knowledge in database systems
• Basic Overview of capacity planning, backup & recovery planning, and disaster recovery planning
• Basic Overview of monitoring and performance tuning of databases
• User-level experience in Windows Operating systems
• Basic knowledge how to connect to MS SQL DB
• Ability to correct and understand basic PowerShell and T-SQL scripts

Personal skills and qualities :

• Strong personal commitment to quality service.
• Strong communication skills.
• Highly focused on customer satisfaction.
• Fluent in English, another European language would be an asset
