Job description, responsibilities and duties

In this role you will be working to support EMEA and WW customers who've outsourced the management of their IT network infrastructure to DXC. On a day to day basis you will provide mainly remote incident, problem, change management and act as a intermediate level NW agent. You'll need to be pro-active and regularly analyze data at your disposal to help drive improvement in quality and productivity of services. You have to be able to demonstrate high level of technical skill in the following areas on the daily basis. LAN, WAN, Security, WIFI, RAS and newly developed SD technology.

Main Tasks:
• Manage and execute Network normal, routine or non-standard changes.
• Analyze and solve complex incidents involving several different & remote support teams, identify root cause of incidents and make appropriate recommendation to avoid future failure
• From a technical perspective you will work with various technology including SD LAN, SD WAN, SDDC, Cisco ISE, Cisco Umbrella, Skybox, Cisco Secure X, Cisco DNA Center for Wi-Fi, Firepower Management System, Symantec & McAfee proxy solutions.
• You will use and utilize network performance systems: Netscout nGeniusONE, Cisco vAnalytics, Cisco DNA and various internal DXC systems
• Ensure network of the customers continues to operate efficiently with minimum downtime
• Understands, synthesis and clarifies customer need
• Proactive to anticipate issues or situations which impact service quality, adapts quickly to new technology & understands complex infrastructures
• Providing help, coaching and training to L1 and GSD teams to spread out network knowledge and experience
To fulfill these tasks, regular standby and overtime work is expected.

Information for applicants:

• This position is based in Slovakia, Bratislava
• Permanent Contract with 3 months of probation period
• Full time position
• Working time: mostly EU business hours, approximately once per 3 months one week of afternoon shift, approximately once per 2 months one week of standby shift (can be changed)
• Salary offered: will be agreed based on candidate`s experience

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
University education (Bachelor's degree)
