SAP BW Consultant with German for Swiss Client

Opportunity for SAP Consultant to became a part of SAP Analytics Team dedicated to Swiss Railway – DXC client recognized as one of the most advanced railway companies in the world.
The Team is responsible for the ongoing support, small change handling, partial project participation and possible taking over of all new Analytical solutions within customer landscape (SAP BW on HANA, BW4/HANA, SAP BO, SAP Analytic Cloud, Snowflake). As far as our customer is trying to stay in touch with the latest technologies, the team is having a chance to participate his journey.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
You will provide SAP consulting and advisory mainly within SAP BW (Business Warehouse) and use/build additional knowledge in other modern SAP related Analytical solutions.

To Daily routine belongs:
- Identify and solve problems and incidents
- Analyze customer’s requirements and business processes and show creativity in solving functional/technical problems and implementing changes
- Provide advice to customers on all aspects of SAP BW Module
- Participate in SAP implementation/development projects
- Improve and optimize customer's application environment
- Customize business processes including creation/update of documentation
- Keep contact with the customer and understand the customer needs
- Achieve a high level of customer's satisfaction

Be prepared to travel occasionally to the Client site.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
You’ll need to have
- Degree or equivalent experience in computer science, computer engineering or related discipline
- 4+ years hands on experience in SAP BW application consulting
- Analytical, problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Service-oriented behavior

Even better if you have
- Experience with the work in the SAP application support team
- Experience in Agile and Dev/Ops methodologies, e.g. Scrum or SAFe
- SAP/ABAP skills to support troubleshooting (ABAP debug) or at least willingness to learn it
- ITIL awareness
- Desire to work on a collaborative high performing team, still having a reasonable level of self-organization and independence in ownership and judgement
- An attitude of motivated self-starter
- An open, flexible and adaptable mindset to cope with a rapidly changing set of tasks
- Fluency in German language (as communication language with customer is German)
