As a Discovery Specialist you will be responsible for ensuring data completeness and data quality of the project Single Source of Truth throughout the phases of a Workload and Cloud Migration.

Responsibilities you will grow into include:
  • Responsible for the installation and administration of the SSoT Tool in use for the project as architected by the Workload Migration and Assessment Engine (WAME)
  • Responsible for uploading data from the various discovery tools into the SSoT
  • Generating Source to Target reports, Master Device List and Data Completeness/Quality Reports on a regular basis for use by project team
  • Will review contents of SSoT to ensure all element of the project scope are understood and confirmed
  • Will review contents of SSoT to identify inconsistencies between Source and Target configurations

Requirements:
  • English Language on a proficient level
  • Basic understanding of application architectures and application infrastructure and ability to learn/willing to understand more
  • Analytical thinking
  • Client-oriented
  • Interest in the technical environment   
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience with coding and with analytical tools (will be considered as an advantage)
  • Microsoft SQL Server SQL Scripting (creation and execution)
  • Any experience with ETL or similar data manipulation tools (e.g. IBM DataStage, Informatica, AB Initio, Talend, MooD) will be considered a strong advantage
