Essential Job Functions
o Analyzes, logs, tracks and resolves Wintel software/hardware matters of significance pertaining to networking connectivity issues, printer, servers, and applications to meet business needs.
o Coordinates and monitors troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common system problems; documents system events to ensure continuous functioning. Recommends course of action and implements as approved.
o Oversees the installation of client department-specific applications and systems. Ensures installations are in accordance with appropriate operating procedures; determines revisions or updates to installation as needed.
o Utilizes standard corporate tools to record change and problem activities for tracking purposes.
o He/she will work in close relationship with the deep technical support team and project leaders who will coordinate all the actions for the Customer.

• Basic Qualifications
o Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Management Information Systems or equivalent experience
o Some years of experience with computer systems or networking is welcomed
o Practical experience in Windows20xx administration
o Very good communications skills (to DXC end customer), both verbal and written
o Analytical problem-solving and root cause analysis skills
o Team player
o Service oriented behavior and communication to internal and external contacts
o Fluent in English
o Experience working with computer hardware for installation and upgrades
o Experience working with software installation/upgrading procedures
o Experience working with file and system maintenance procedure

• Other Qualifications
o Good organization skills to balance and prioritize work, and multitask
o Good analytical and problem solving skills to troubleshoot systems problems
o Good communication skills to communicate with support personnel, customers, and managers
o Ability to work independently and as part of a team
o Win 2003 server platform / installation / configuration / troubleshooting - Good knowledge is advance
o Win 2008 server / installation / configuration / Any knowledge here is more than welcome
o File System / access control / shares / command line tools for FS / shares
o Maintenance - advanced knowledge
o Scripting / command line scripts - intermediate level of knowledge
o Printing over print servers / installing printer queues / printers migration - advanced knowledge
o RAID / configuration / troubleshooting / migration - advanced knowledge
