WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

You will implement bespoke solutions in SAP and solve complex problems using your expertise.

Your everyday work will make people’s lives and work improved by
• Developing new solutions, resolving defects and providing assistance in solving end user problems, answering development-related questions and testing the implementations
• Being a consultant for design, development and maintenance application solutions for the Client
• Understanding the requirements from functional specification and transforming it into technical design
• Keeping close communication with all stakeholders and building professional relationships with Client representatives

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
You’ll need to be/have
• Degree or equivalent experience in computer science, computer engineering or related discipline
• 5+ years hands on experience in SAP ABAP programming on application development projects with various scale, comprehensive debugging and performance tuning and scalable solution design
• Knowledge of all aspects of an SAP environment - PI/PO, SolMan, IDOC’s, HANA
• Experience with programming SmartForms, Object-Oriented ABAP, BOR, User Exits, Enhancements, Reports and Dialog Programming
• Desire to work in a team, still having a reasonable level of self-organization and independence in ownership and judgement
• An open, flexible and adaptable mindset to cope with a rapidly changing set of tasks
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Self-driven to learn, to use learned matter to produce and to share with others
• Persieverance, a reasonable level of concentration and resilience despite of obstacles and distractions
• Eye for a detail
• Interest in problem solving and solution improvement
• Proficiency in conventional office, application development and productivity software tools and frameworks
• At least B2 (upper intermediate) in English, both written and spoken

Even better if you are/have
• Experience with programming Function Modules PM, MM, WM, PP and with WebDynpro, Fiori, Hana
• Experience in design and development of interfaces between SAP and non-SAP
• Knowledge of SAP interfacing technologies (ALE/IDoc, EDI, BAPIs, flat-file interfaces)
• Experience with consuming SOAP and REST based web services in SAP
• Knowledge of modern enhancement techniques using BAdI and/or the Enhancement Framework
• Professional certificate related to mentioned technology domain
• German language skill at any level
