Job description, responsibilities and duties
• gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth,
• develop product pricing and positioning strategies,
• product manager is expected to develop and maintain a detailed understanding of the portfolio and must be able to share this knowledge with other team members,
• evaluate promotional plans to ensure that they are consistent with product line strategy and that the message is effectively conveyed,
• collect the open sources market data to have reliable information about market position,
• assesses market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors' products,
• scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact,
• act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding,
• provides information for management by preparing short-term and long-term product sales forecasts and special reports and analyses; answering questions and requests,
• obtains product market share by working with sales director to develop product sales strategies.
