Job description, responsibilities and duties

You will be developing smart and modern tools for traffic and incident management for air broadcasting for radio stations. These tools process a large amount of data from sensors and thousands of messages daily. This system was awarded multiple times for increasing the traffic safety. Together with the team, you will develop microservices with Java and Spring. You will find yourself using both relational databases like Postgres as well as NoSQL solutions such as Elasticsearch. The team lives in the agile world (Kanban), putting whiteboards up to good use and utilizing methodologies such as Pair-Programming.
There is also an opportunity to become a Team Leader on this project and help us build and lead the team.

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related technical discipline
3+ years full-time software development experience
Background in Java Web Development, knowledge of Spring and Hibernate
Experience and knowledge of the JavaScript or/and HTML5
Good command of RESTful Web Services
Good knowledge of XSLT, XML
IDE: IntelliJ IDEA
Nice-to-have: Git, Jira, Confluence
