As VMware vSphere Engineer with scripting you will contribute to design, development and deployment Cloud services on strategic DN Private Cloud platform. We provide the possibility of remote cooperation with a condition to visit the office in Košice twice a month.

Key Responsibilities

• Realization of robust, automated vSphere infrastructure
• Independent development and implementation of various scripts and tools for automating virtual infrastructure in the private cloud (mostly PowerShell, Ansible)
• Participate in the evaluation, installation, support and administer relevant tools used to provide infrastructure automation and integration solutions
• Support and administration of development, test and production systems
• Design, create, validate and maintain templates, blueprints, playbooks and modules
• 3rd Level Support for the operations teams
• Consulting and collaboration with other technical roles
• Responsible for continual service improvement through automation IT solutions, improving the effectiveness of services and decreasing failures
• Able to contribute to the definition of IT technology strategy, standards, and roadmaps
• Understanding of the storage systems, databases, virtualization, computing, middleware
• Delivering/supporting root cause analysis within the scope of responsibilities for major issues
• Understanding of DR and HA concepts
• Mentoring of colleagues within the team 

Required Qualifications

• Strong VMware vSphere operations, design and implementation skills and experience
• Experience with scripting or automation based upon PowerShell/ PowerCLI or Ansible
• Technical understanding of infrastructure components – network, firewalls, storage, virtualization
• Significant continuous learning
• Experience working in SCRUM/Agile

Starting salary from 3500 EUR gross/month- the final offer depends on proven experience
