Job description, responsibilities and duties

The IT architect is responsible for designing and improving IT solutions, is responsible for managing projects, technicians and resources needed to prepare solution design. IT Architect must be able to identify user requirements by researching and analysing user needs, preferences, objectives, and working methods; plans information architecture by studying the site concept, strategy, and target audience; envisioning architectural scheme, information structure and features, functionality, and user-interface design; creating user scenarios; preparing data models; designing information structure, work-and dataflow, and navigation; evaluating information representation; conducting creative meetings.

You are responsible for:
• Provides industry leading technical direction and guidance to various project teams to ensure appropriate and cost effective implementation of approved technologies.
• Ensures appropriate and effective technical leadership.Ability to look across the assigned domain to ensure consistent alignment of technical solutions with the business goals and objectives of the supported unit.
• Expected to have multi-discipline expertise and capabilities required of an application architect and a strong practically based working knowledge of various architectural patterns, technologies and architecture management processes.
• Capable of working without direct supervision to develop solution architectures that comprehend and specify business, application, data and infrastructure designs.
• Contributes to the definition of IT technology direction, standards and roadmaps.
• Ability to negotiate customer requirements and map them to architecture
• Understanding of principles of storage, network, computing and virtualization
• Ability to make high level design of standard applications (DB, Web, mail...) in cross platform environment.
• Overview of markets available technologies
• Understanding of DR and HA concepts

• Starting salary 1900 EUR gross / month depending on experience
• annual bonus of 10% calculated on the basis of personal performance and company results

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Advanced (C1)

Personality requirements and skills

Qualifications
• Working experience in IT architecture/design
• Working independently and service-oriented
• Fluency spoken and written English
• Self-motivated demonstrated good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Experience working on an enterprise level
• Fundamental knowledge about architecture design frameworks
• Experience with working in an ITIL orientated company
• German language skills are a plus
• Must have excellent communication skills-verbal and written
