Job description, responsibilities and duties

ECSD administrator provides infrastructure and endpoint support for multiple customers (Bootix application), creates packages via batch scripting.

Position Overview
Senior ECSD administrator works for DN customers Retail sector where he/she provides the support and complex tasks to fulfil their expectations. ECSD administrator creates and maintains solutions to keep SLA on expected levels, improving the qualitative areas and implementing innovated solution to improve delivery of service.
ECSD administrator provides infrastructure and endpoint support for multiple customers (Bootix application), creates packages via batch scripting to be uploaded on the endpoints and maintains software distribution infrastructure.

You are responsible for:
· Incident/ Problem/ Change management.
· Overall responsible for the Incident management process for Windows Client
· Delivery of complex nonstandard orders (special reports for customers, etc.)
· Application administrator for Diebold-Nixdorf proprietary applications – Windows based – for Retail & Banking.
· Delivering of Root Cause analysis within scope of responsibilities for major issues
· Performing the support for L1 ,L2, consulting and providing necessary data for L3
· Handling of corporate processes and requirements in Incident, Problem, Change, Release, Configuration Management
· Consulting and collaboration with other technical roles, mainly with Solution architects, Solution owners or Service owners
· Updating Customer specific or Project documentation, Known error documentation, Knowledge Base within area of responsibility
· Responsible for Continual Service Improvement through automation IT solution, improving of effectiveness of services and decreasing of failures
· Updating Customer specific or Project documentation, Known error documentation, Knowledge Base within area of responsibility
· Mentoring of the colleagues within the team

Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

· Able to communicate in English language (speak, read, write)
· Good communication skills – convince colleagues about new idea, be able to communicate on good level under the pressure.
· Application operation & infrastructure overview
· Advanced Windows Client setting and troubleshooting
· Advanced SW distribution knowledge (Bootix)
· Solid knowledge of Windows Deployment technologies (Windows PE, WAIK, Sysprep, USMT, Unattended installations)
· Strong scripting skills (Windows batch, VBS)
· Good Linux knowledge
· Windows and Active Directory background. Strong knowledge of Group Policies.
· Proactive approach to problems
· General IT overview cross technology layers (5+ years of experience in IT sector)
· Windows and Network troubleshooting
· Professional education in Computer Science, Information Technology or Electrical is a plus.
· Experience in ICT services in large organization is a plus
· Experience in ITSM according to ITIL is a plus
· Understanding of network diagram and topology
· Understanding of Infrastructure architecture diagram
· Detailed planning, organization, time management, and project management skills experience is a plus
· Application Operation & Interface / Job management experience
