Job description, responsibilities and duties

As a Services Analyst you will design, build and continuously improve the systems and processes used to operate our Service Portfolio towards our Customers. Ideally you should have excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to administer and operate our internal systems. Ability to utilize, understand and develop different purposes and solutions to aid our internal and external Customers. Capable of analyze any issues in the application/system/infrastructure and provide resolutions or guide it to the appropriate resolution group. A drive to learn with the ability to both work as directed and act on own initiative. Under your responsibility you will have to observe the system events and validate incidents, processes and performance of devices and continuously improve the overall service performance and service costs.

You are responsible for
• Design Structure and operational model for existing and new customers
• Deployment of mid/large-scale Applications and Architecture projects, an understanding of how IT technologies impact on and are impacted by other IT infrastructure technologies,
• Accountable all changes to be processed according to controlled Change Management environment
• Interface with stakeholders and transition new service solutions into the relevant IT support
• Implement solutions in an efficient and effective manner the emphasis being on service excellence and right first time delivery
• Develop implement and maintain business rules to aid efficiency through our Services division
• Frequently advise business owners and management of new/ changed features that are available
• Installing and configuring ATM’s or Self-service checkout devices onto our internal monitoring systems
• Continuously monitor the performance of the IT systems and the services that are running on them strongly liaise with the MI & Continuous Improvement team
• Where required support the Solution Architect with the design of new services.
• Consult with regards of the capabilities of Processes and available IT systems.
• Build / Configure / Test the IT Systems to deliver the new Service Designs
• Document the new solution from systems & process standpoint and ensure the relevant business owners are enabled to train their staff on the new processes.
• Transition agreed new service solutions into the relevant IT systems

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

Qualifications
• Previous technology experience (3+) with at least 5 years hands-on technical roles in the field and relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Experience with Bash Scripts, Java Script or other scripting experience
Knowledge of Monitoring tools (e.g Check, MK) and setup of monitoring tools and rulesets (System Management)
Basic knowledge with Configuration Management and Infrastructure Deployment tools
Understanding of network diagram and topology (LAN, WAN, protocols, ports, …)
Experience in ITSM according to ITIL
Experience in ICT services in large organization
• Experience with operating systems Microsoft Window or Linux related technologies (0-2 years of experience)
• Customer Facing: Able to develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers
• General consulting skills
• Fluent English language
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent subject (preferred but not essential)
• Analytical, organizational and communication skills
• Result-driven, teamwork, and taking initiatives
• Very good writing and communication skills
• Preparation of documentation, process descriptions, working aids and manuals
• Development of process optimizations
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
• Able to demonstrate a good level of competence in planning and organizing own workload.
• Flexible approach to work demands
• Proactive self-motivator and able to work on own initiative
• Experience with Banking and Retail Endpoints Monitoring Setup (ATMs, Tills, etc.) as an advantage
• IT overview, experience with Enterprise environment is advantage
• Knowledge from industry as an advantage
