about the position

Purpose of the job:
Cooperation in internal and external communication activities within the company, mainly with focus on maintaining and creating content in German and English language for internal portal of Deutsche Telekom, but also with involvement in the creation of content for newsletter, website and social media (also in Slovak language).

Job Content:
• Maintaining and creating content in respective languages
• Writing headlines and long copy for various topics (HR, travel booking, salary conditions, …).
• Coordinating the content with the product managers and advising them on the best possible presentation of their content
• Monitoring, analyzing traffic and developing optimization measures
• Working closely with the rest of the team and the editorial board
• Managing various content suppliers
• Supporting communication activities based on the communication strategy, mainly in online communication

The salary for this position is from 1500 gross.
The published salary is the minimum possible offer. The starting salary may be higher depending on the extent of fulfillment of the employee's requirements (education, language skills, required practice, personality assumptions and skills).

Personality requirements and skills


• University education (marketing, PR, communication, journalism or other relevant field) or a relevant training / qualification

• 2 years experience in related position

Language knowledge:
Slovak - Advanced (C1)
German - Advanced (C1)
English - Upper Intermediate (B2)

PC skills:
• Content management system / Wordpress– advanced (advantage)
• HTML – advanced (advantage)
• Social media - advanced
• Microsoft PowerPoint – advanced
• Microsoft Word – advanced

Other requirements:
• Experience in online editing and social media content creation
• Experience in writing articles
•Ability and will to learn new things
• Excellent command of the German language and a very good knowledge of the English language
• Experience in Content management system (CMS), tracking (analytics) tools and social media management
• HTML skills are advantage
• Experience in dealing with counterparts in Germany is advantage
• Proactive, creative and independent person with can do attitude
• Ability to focus on details and delivery within agreed timelines
