Purpose of the job:

Deutsche Telekom has successfully ended in 2020 the One.ERP project - a strategic business and IT transformation program. We created an efficient and agile Enterprise Resource Planning System based now on standardized data models, - business processes and - IT for the entire One.ERP community. Our team, P2R/CO conducted the national and international rollouts to the various NatCos and segments within time, quality and budget. The rollouts focused on the implementation of standardized, integrated and automated controlling relevant processes based on the SAP standard.

With the beginning of 2021, the team pursues its mandate seamlessly as line business. In the P2R/CO team, business – and IT colleagues are collaborating closely together. There are mainly four pillars (activity split) that determines our doing. That is to react to incidents (10% bus / 90% IT), to steer demands (25% bus / 75% IT), to accompany significant projects of Deutsche Telekom (40% bus / 60% IT) and to create and drive strategic innovations (50% bus / 50% IT). The pillars are worked off in the following phases of assessment, design, build, test and run. Your main task will be to strengthen the team’s area of operations with your business expertise. But at the same time, you also understand the IT-related approaches to our content.

Job content:
As ERP Controlling_P2R/CO – international CO expert business, you are supporting a successful maintenance and enhancement in line business. Your business-competence is estimated with >70%, vs. a remaining IT-competence of design > (build) > test > migration > cutover > get well
o Identify new topics, receive demands, CRs and assess them
o Administer and document topics and accompany topic E2E in SolMan (or
equivalent)
o Write chapter 1 and understand chapter 2 of technical design document
o Act as bridge-head for participants in above mentioned phases
o Administer and manage defects
o Support migration activities
o Accompany and support cutover during get well
• Overall Process responsibility with business emphasis for CO relevance within existing UseCases, such as
o Procure to Pay – P2P
o Buy to Scrap – B2S
o Order to Cash – O2C
o Record to Report – R2R
• Overall CO related process responsibility with business emphasis within the following applications:
o Production, Services and Logistics – PSL
o Major Business Customer Solutions – BSO
o Real estate – REFX
o Plant Maintenance – PM
• Manage international, virtual teams.
• Steer the IT units to design the technical solutions required for the rollout.
• Build and drive Task Forces to solve critical technical issues.
• Participate, present and defend your standpoint in local and central management meetings.
• Continuously monitor, evaluate and improve project-, demand-, CR progress.
• Report to ERP controlling product owner within One.Finance/One.ERP.
• Ensure high quality and on time production of all deliverables..

The salary for this position is from 2500 EUR gross.
The published salary is the minimum possible offer. The starting salary may be higher depending on the extent of fulfillment of the employee's requirements (education, language skills, required practice, personality assumptions and skills).

Requirements:

• Several years of employment in above mentioned environments.
o Excellent knowledge of the One.ERP-Program

o Solid background in telecommunication industry, its

▪ accounting methodology.
o Experienced in ERP-business processes and shared service.

o Self-confident appearance in critical, difficult or “political” situations.
o Strong organizational, interpersonal, and ability to manage multiple priorities.

o Willing to document meticulously results, minutes, milestones reached.

• Independently working is mandatory.
• High flexibility expected.
• Readiness to travel international.
• Fluent in spoken and written English (C2), have good German (B2/C1) language skill.
• A university degree in a related field.
• Good computer skills, proficient with MS Office applications.

Language knowledge:
• English C1, German B2 beneficial

PC skills:
• Knowledge of SAP R/3 modules (CO, PS, IM, FI, MM, SD).
• Being able to understand Solution Design documentation
• Understand SAP R/3 standard vs. One.Finance SAP standard.
• Sound knowledge of SAP 4/HANA highly expected with willingness to improve in this subject.
