about the position
Purpose of the job: Developing automatized and BI solutions for Record to Report processes and complex activities for companies within Deutsche Telekom Group,
mainly delivery of BI solutions to managers and other internal customers in area of finance and controlling and daily support of data delivery in environment built on BI technologies.
Job content:
• Developing and delivering automated processes.
• Building reports and dashboards within BI Technologies.
• Identification of the most suitable data sources and database interfaces.
• Creating relational data models and/or data cubes (big data processing), query design for various Business Intelligence solutions.
• Working on change requests to adjust existing automated solutions.
• Design, development, testing and documentation of scripts to purge old data, converting data and managing security.
• Idetify performance improvement possibilities.
• Developing further data including aliases, mapping tables or predictive analysis
• Supporting in data retrieving process from systems
• Coordinating activities with other units – bridge between Reporting & Controlling and IT division
• Setting and regularly reviewing process documentation
• Training and supporting other developers in delivery of automated solutions
• Reporting issues, breaks, risks, improvements to Team Leader
• Providing informative newsletters about new platform features, functionality, systems downtimes
• Scripting, Server Reporting Services.
The salary for this position is from 1500€ gross.
The published salary is the minimum possible offer. The starting salary may be higher depending on the extent of fulfillment of the employee's requirements (education, language skills, required practice, personality assumptions and skills).

• University education in Information Technology / Economics (ideally with focus on subject matter)
• Experience with scripting, automation and BI solutions (MS Power BI, MicroStrategy, SAP Analytical Cloud, Qlik Sense, Query design tools for SAP BW, BEX Designer, SAP Hana Studio, CITRIX, query language MDX, other)
• Experience within the field of application programming
• 4+ years of relevant experience
Language knowledge
• English – fluent
• German – advantage
PC skills
• Excellent working knowledge of IT system environments
• Advanced knowledge of operating systems
• Database operations (e.g.MS SQL, MySQL, Oracle incl. connections to DB,
backup and restore procedures, SQL client )
• HW infrastructure interfaces, system analysis
Other skills
• Active experience and delivery of excel macros, Visual Basic scripts or other configuration/scripting type technology
• Understanding of workflow based on logic and the ability to both understand a business process from a workflow diagram and to conceptualize it as an automated solution
