Purpose of the job:
Customer and Transformation Management International (CTI), as a group within the department Customer and Transformation Management (CTM) is responsible for the customer management for the internal Telekom customers as well as for the transition of business processes from the Subsidiaries to the international Shared Service Centers of DTSE. CTI builds the interface between DTSE with its
service lines (operations) on the one hand side and the Telekom subsidiaries and their representatives on the other hand side.

In terms of transitions the team is responsible for the overall strategy and approach to the implementation of the processes in scope including initial kick off with the Legal Entities, adaption of the processes from both a process and system perspective, timely implementation and also the knowledge transfer between the Legal Entity / Shared Service Center.

For Customer management the main target is to ensure a proper exchange of information with all related parties, representing DTSE in any kind of contract negotiation and escalations, but also the extension of the service portfolio with the customer.

The role of Transition Manager is expected to own the implementation of diverse processes and transitions of the Legal Entities to the future mode operations in the framework of Shared Service Center. The responsibility includes ownership of transition activities, support IT implementation, reporting, risk management. Transition manager will act as mediator between experts in central and
local teams and will bring all customer-related process perspective in alignment.

Job content:
• Lead the activities to support proper transition in both the Multi-Shared Service Center and the Legal Entities in scope.
• Take overall ownership for coordinating, managing and implementing all transition activities based on the project plan and budget and in line with program governance.
• Oversee the phase gates, managing the migration, transition, and support handover activities to the future mode of operations (incl. Legal Entity, Shared Service Center and support functions - both group and outsourced). Working with the Legal Entity and Shared Service Centre to implement the designed operating model.
• Review and sign-off of work stream deliverables according to the phase gate approach.
• Support Legal Entities in the roll out of the processes in scope.
• Oversee delivery of implementation requirements from the Central Project Team and Service Lines.
• Execute the implementation plan following the phase-gate-approach and manage progress of Legal Entities and Shared Service Centre implementation.
• Act as the Project Team focal point for any transition related implementation issues / questions including accurate communication and reporting.
• Manage and mitigate implementation risks and issues. Co-ordinate activities on
implementation issues across all work streams, escalating as required.
• Track progress via phase gates and central status reporting and support identification of risks and issues in Legal Entity and in the Shared Service Centre.
• Manage the relationship between Central Team with key stakeholders from the
implementation teams in Legal Entities and the Shared Service Centers including issue resolution.
• Collaborate with Operations leaders on issues arising from implementation.

The salary for this position is from 2000 EUR gross.
The published salary is the minimum possible offer. The starting salary may be higher depending on the extent of fulfillment of the employee's requirements (education, language skills, required practice, personality assumptions and skills).

Personality requirements and skills

• Strong project management skills
• Experience in transition projects (transfer of work) and min. 4y. experience in position transition manager
• General understanding of accounting and shared service processes
• Professional in stakeholder management - experience in developing, managing
and influencing relations
• Ability to run workshops
• Understanding of Deutsche Telekom organization or experience in building
relations in a fast paced and demanding project environment
• Good presentation and communication skills (in English)
• International profile; Experience working internationally and culturally aware of
countries and cultures served
• Change management experience preferably in shared service environment
• Ability to develop and present decision papers in front of the Management
• Willing to travel abroad (30%)
• Fluent English, German - big advantage
