Job description, responsibilities and duties

Purpose of the job:

National and international process design and optimization

Job content:

• Potential analysis and optimization of processes
• Implementation of optimizing leading to cost effectiveness, efficiency and quality increase
• Implementation of workflows to optimize the work organization
• Process implementation in Payment Allocation, Collection & Dunning
• Optimization of organizational aspects (distribution of work items to employees) regarding the process organization
• Execution and project support to integrate further accounting functions into the Shared Service Center
• Preparation of training materials, in-house trainings and instructions for new employees
• Professional implementation of projects (eg merging of organizations, creation of new company codes, implementation of new accounting procedures)
• Status reporting of the projects to the national and international management as well as to the heads of department of the affected areas
• Management of cross-functional teams of experts for the creation of national and international process design and requirements detailing in the areas of "Payment", "Dunning, Bad Debth / Collection", "Collection" and "Final Preparation"
• Responsible for project results in terms of dates, quality and resources

The salary for this position is from 1300 EUR gross.
The published salary is the minimum possible offer. The starting salary may be higher depending on the extent of fulfillment of the employee's requirements (education, language skills, required practice, personality assumptions and skills).

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Master's degree)

Educational Specialization

Economy/Accounting/Project Management

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2) and German - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

Experience: Several years of experience in accounting and project management

Experience in shared service centers or audit is beneficial

PC/IT skills: Experience with SAP (especially Modules SD/FI) is beneficial

MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio, MS-Project) advanced

Skills:
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• Flexibility and willingness to travel (ca. 30%)
• Reliability,responsibility and assertive approach
• Ability to work under pressure
• Technical know-how in SAP based accounting procesess
• Project management / IPMA is beneficial
• Independent and comprehensive thinking
