Job description, responsibilities and duties

Tasks:
  • Guiding the team and organisation on how to use Agile (Scrum, Kanban) practices and values to with a customer focus.
  • Understand and teach DevOps principels and deal with challenges of the team to establish 24x7 operation
  • Assessing the Scrum maturity of the team and organisation and coaching the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organisation.
  • Removing impediments or guiding the team to find the right personnel to solve the impediment.
  • Building a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis on healing and problem-solving.
  • Support the team to improve their technical work by reviewing results and establish lessons learned as well as track the improvement.
  • Facilitating getting the work done without coercion, assigning, or dictating the work.
  • Host discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution.
  • Assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information.
  • Handling and improving the established processes in the tickle lifecycle
  • Supporting and educating the Product Owner, especially on grooming and maintaining the product backlog.
  • Providing all support to the team using a servant leadership style whenever possible, and leading by example.

University education (Bachelor's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

Professional skills:
  • Bachelor /Master in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) or Certified Product Owner (CSPO)
  • Experience as a Scrum Master for at least one year for a software development team that was diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory.
  • Knowledge of various well-documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach (example: numerous Burndown technologies, various Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc.).
  • Knowledge with software development automation and virtualizaltion IT infrastructure.
  •  Social skills: Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.
  • Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success

  •  Specific skills (Methods, trends, language, knowledge): Knowledge of other Agile approaches: XP, Scrum, Kanban, Crystal, FDD, DevOps etc.
  • Awareness and experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games.
  • English language – fluent (excellent verbal and written communication skills)
  • Tools: Gitlab, markdown, groupware (wiki, messager, telecommunication)
