- This position is available for multiple locations: Bratislava, Budapest, Athens, Bucharest
Key Performance Indicators / Key responsibilities and deliverables:(e.g. budget, revenue, EBITDA, etc.):- As part of the Pan-European TV team, the Solution Designer contributes to planning and designing of Video solutions
- The expert is responsible for the implementation of relevant technical applications. This may include workstream coordination as well as steering external partners and suppliers from technical viewpoint
- Responsible for planning, implementation of video applications and / or specific components
- Provides Designerural guidance, cooperates with other Solution Designers
- Understands business targets, provides technical option space for execution, able to engage in constructive discussion how to achive business targets most effective (leadtime, TCO)
- Detailed job description, responsibilities:Act as Solution Designer for Video/TV technology developments focusing on a specific component (e.g. Content Management Systems (CMS), media signal transcoding (Head-End) and encryption (DRM), streaming AV pipes including Content Delivery Networks (CDN) and core video platforms) in cross-country video service developments and deployments,
- Provides technical solution Designerure for specific components of the Video ecosysteme-
- Contributes to High Level Solution Designs, feasibility studies, Designerure concepts and technical Functional and Non-Functional Requirement Specification as well as acceptance test procedures
- Creates Low Level Design and Deployment Procedure Description
- Coordinates communincation toward internal and external vendors within the projects
- Contributes to and/or leads project review activities (project plans, requirement, design and test case) to assume joint responsibility with other team members on quality and schedule
- Prepares and evaluates integration plans of new technology components
- Reviewes technical studies and design proposals for applications
- Creates API integration plans
- Guides VNF (application) integration in different infrastructure (cloud/onprem) environments

Education:
- Master’s in computer science, Information Technology/Systems or related field
- Professional knowledge, skills, know-how in the field & experience in the field:3-5 years of experience in large scale international consumer service company (e.g. IT /technology consultancy, big tech giants (FAMGA), e-commerce, telco)
- Proven track record in TV / OTT video, video on demand, media delivery systems topics or any other broadcast, streaming or content management related technologies/projects
- Strong understanding of cloud solutions (public, private) and their benefits/limitations
- Proven track record in Solution Designer (SA) role in international Telco or IT companie, large service providers
- Proven track record in documentation, standardization and test protocol creation, process/workflow planning, service migration (at least in two), OSS/BSS integration.
- Language skills:English language – fluent (excellent verbal and written communication skills)
- Interpersonal, communication skills:Excellent communication skills with the ability to speak and write at both senior and junior levels within the organization
- Strong analytical skills; the ability to see at both the helicopter view and focus on details, if required.
- Proven ability/experience working in a multi layered international matrix organization
- Experience in working with international teams (direct & indirect) from different cultural backgrounds and experience in managing external resources ensuring clarity, collaboration and efficiency
- Excellent team player

- Good understanding of video packaging and OTT streaming (HLS, DASH, HDS, HSS) is a plus,
- Experienced in VNF integrations (OpenStack etc.), OSS/BSS adaptations or service migrations
- Strong technical knowledge in IT security
- DEVOPS experience is considered as a strong plus.
