  • This position is available for multiple locations: Bratislava, Budapest, Athens, Bucharest

    Key Performance Indicators / Key responsibilities and deliverables:(e.g. budget, revenue, EBITDA, etc.):
    • As part of the Pan-European consumer video (TV) team, the analytics expertcontributes to designing and delivering consumer video solutions (OTT, PayTV)
    • Stongly understands business targets, responsible for creating 360°consumer view.Able to engage in constructive discussion how to support business targets (e.g. electronic sale through, upsell, recommendations), provides technical option space for implementing tools serving business targets
    • Responsible for planning, implementation of analyitics solutions and components. Captures, stores and processes data for customer behavior. Presents data in structured reports, recognizes patterns, predicts customer behavior helps to optimize service performance against business priorities.
    • Tracks performance KPIs (load times, video quality, stability) of the applications, monitors quality, service availability. Feedbacks production/operation learnings into developments in order to continuously improve user experience
    • Works closely with business owners, achitecture and user experience experts.
    •  Detailed job description, responsibilities:Acts as consumer analytics expert for Video/TV technology development related projects in cross-country video service developments
    • Owns the analytics topics. Provides technical solutions for analytics. Translates business targets into technology solutions
    • Contributes to High Level Solution Designs, feasibility studies, architecture concepts and technical Functional and Non-Functional Requirement Specification as well as acceptance test procedures.
    • Creates Low Level Design and Deployment Procedure Description for analytics
    • Coordinates internal and external vendors within the projects
    • Prepares and evaluates integration plans of new technology components
    • Reviewes technical studies and design proposals for anaylitcs applications

Personality requirements and skills

Education:
  • Master’s in computer science, Information Technology/Systems, Data sciences, economics or related field
  •  Professional knowledge, skills, know-how in the field & experience in the field:3-5 years of experience in large scale international consumer service company (e.g. IT /technology consultancy, big tech giants (FAMGA), e-commerce, telco)
  • Strong understanding of consumer analyitics, best practices of service industry for measuring quality, converting sporadic users to engaged customers
  • Proven track record in application development at international, large B2C service providers
  • Experience with TV / OTT video, video on demand, media delivery or any other broadcast, streaming or content management related technologies/projects is considered as a plus.
  •  Language skills:English language – fluent (excellent verbal and written communication skills)
  •  Interpersonal, communication skills:Excellent communication skills with the ability to speak and write at both senior and junior levels within the organization
  • Strong analytical skills; the ability to see at both the helicopter view and focus on details, if required.
  • Proven ability/experience working in a multi layered international matrix organization
  • Experience in working with international teams (direct & indirect) from different cultural backgrounds and experience in managing external resources ensuring clarity, collaboration and efficiency
  • Excellent team player
  • Strong and dynamic individual, with the ability to thrive under pressure
  • Solid use of agile methodologies, practices.

  • Experience in OTT video field / streaming / broadcasting /payTV field is a plus
  • DEVOPS experience is considered as a strong plus.
