Job description, responsibilities and duties

Tasks:
  • The position holder must have the ability to deliver project results by utilizing a high amount of collaboration, proactive ownership, win-win problem solving, and customer centric focus. Managing ambiguity, balancing competing priorities, ability to multi-task, attention to detail, adapting to change, and holding one-self accountable for results are required competencies.
  •  Additional responsibilities of the Programm Manager include:Initiation and leading of technology integration/migration projects in Europe with multinational Project teams
  • Implement internal Business Agility method and help teams adhere to required elements.
  • Support and participate in development of technical solution concepts
  • Manage technology lifecycle (e.g. change management, performance reviews, quality assurance).
  • Collaboration with Europe business units and International Technology & Service delivery units in area of TV service production.
  • Advising management/clients regarding further development of the respective business field
  • Selection and justification of the optimal solution for the systematic and early detection of project risks
  • Controlling the cooperation with the parties involved in the project (internal, external, group-wide, and international) as well as the client's contact person
  • Lead and complete tasks to collect and report on IT security and remediation needs.
  • Proactively anticipate and remove impediments to keep teams highly productive
  • Manage risks, issues, and dependencies for the platform
  • Identify and manage dependencies internal to a team and with other Stakeholders
  • Create and utilize key metrics to measure, improve, and report performance to stakeholders
  • Provide Agility direction, advice on practices within needed standards and circumstance optionality
  • Cultivate and sustain effective partnerships between members of cross-functional teams
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement to enhance effectiveness and good practice sharing
  • Ensure key information radiators are accessible, visible, current, and improved as needed.
  • Provide support to ensure on schedule and accurate time tracking for the projects

  • Knowledge of the relevant supplier market in particular in TV service production is a plus
  • Experience in dealing with TV/video service platforms including the respective supporting systems
  • 5+ years of experience managing full software development life cycle (SDLC) projects including deployments, with cross-functional, matrix staff spanning lines of business and technical disciplines
  • 3+ years of experience on projects using Agile software development methods, e.g., Lean; Scrum - certified SM is a plus; & SAFe - certified as a SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) is a plus
  • Experience in leading change initiatives related to Agile delivery of value
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products
  • Willingness to travel internationally on a frequent basis.
  • Strong communications skills in English (fluent spoken and written), good communication skills in German is a plus.
