Job description, responsibilities and duties

Job description:
  • Demand Management is a planning methodology used to forecast [predict], plan for and manage the demand for products and services.
  • Setup and lead demand management: Evaluating the demands towards the production factory (datacenter, distribued pan European network, IT/OSS, Operations, Security, Test Facility) and alignment with PanNet Service Delivery and Business Excellence Units
  • Acts as primary interface to service delivery unit for demands towards the production factory for all domains: IT, NFVI, Network, Security, Operations
  • Leads the demand management setup phase from PF perspective
  • Defines the demand management process in alignment with service delivery and business excellence
  • Defines requirements for demand management tools
  • Pre-evaluation of requests and identification of required PF units for evaluation of demand request
  • Coordinates PF requirements within the service introduction process (SIP)
  • Development and maintainance of PF product catalogue within the PF and communication outside PF
  • Identifies new PF platform requirements based on service center requests
  • Gives input to the PF roadmap planning based on service demands
  • Consolidates demands assessment results by different PF units and prepare response to demand owner
  • Identifes synergies and possible groupings between ongoing demand requests
  • Actively manage relation with service center leaders and business excellence in order to anticipate service demand/tranistion planning
  • Coordinates service centers and supports Service Operating Model preparation for service transition/introduction in PF
  • Prepares management escalations in case of demand and service transition conflicts
  • Reporting on PF demand status

  •  Education:University degree in Technical area  (Computer Science, Telecommunication Engineering, Information Systems or related field)
  •    Professional knowledge, skills, know-how in the field & experience in the field:More than 4-5 years experience in the area of demand management design, implementation and operations
  •  Language skills:English language – fluent (excellent verbal and written communication skills)
  •  Interpersonal, communication skills:Main interfaces for the position:  internal PanNet employees, other PanNet companies, DT,  external 3rd parties
  • Excellent team player and motivator
  •  Other soft skills, competences:Conflict management and moderation
  • Clear communication skills
  • High level of customer orientation
  • Very good command of the English language
  • Team leadership for small teams
  •   Hard skills:Project management - Sound knowledge of PMI methodology
  • Demand management processes and good understanding of relevant process frameworks for Telcos, e.g. ITIL and/or eTOM
  • Good understanding of telecommunication services
  • Good understand in one or more of the areas of the PanNet production factory:IT/OSS
  • Cloud based service production
  • Public/private cloud infrastructure
