Job description, responsibilities and duties

Detailed job description, responsabilities:
  • Coordinates all Accounting service providers as well as communication with the DT in the area of asset accounting
  • Implement and monitor a process for reconciliation between technical inventory data base and asset register
  • Monitoring of CAPEX/OPEX split on PO level
  • Communication with asset accounting responsible employees
  • Ensure Finance support from accounting service providers for all Pan-Net entities by consulting and working collaborative together
  • Design, implement and lead a process for Useful life review and impairment triggering events for all Pan-Net entities
  • Interface to DT Accounting, T&I Finance, Treasury, Tax
  • Support ad-hoc tasks which will appear during DT Pan-Net’s implementation phase

Key Performance Indicators/Key responsabilities and deliverables:
  • Managing of asset accounting processes for all other Pan-Net entities
  • Monitoring of asset accounting performed by Accounting service providers
  • Establishment of unified asset methodology across Pan-Net entities and development of related guidelines
  • Ensure compliance with DT Accounting Guidelines in the area of asset accounting
  • Design and implementation of finance processes and information systems in the area of asset accounting
  • Introduction and implementation of unified approach to Inventory taking and inventarization / labeling of assets
  • Drive the disucsions for accounting treatment decisions in the area of asset recognition
  • Active participation in ONE.ERP roll-out in the area of asset management
  • Collaboration with all Finance functionalities in all Pan-Net entities
  • Overall responsibility: Asset Management processes in all Pan-Net entities
  •  Education:Master/University degree in economics or other related fields
  •  Proffesional knowledge, skills, know how in the field & experience in the field:Experience in field of activity : 7 years
  • Deep knowledge of IFRS; especially in the area of asset recognition and measurement
  • Knowledge of Deutsche Telekom Accounting policies and asset methodology will be considered as a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, technical, IT and numerical abilities
  • Multinational experience: Yes
  •  Language skills:English language - fluent
