Job description, responsibilities and duties

Job description:
  • To support the IT Requirements definition for an existing Trouble Ticket Applikation based on HPSM
  • Support of the High Level integration design to integrate a SM application with external applications via WebServices with focus on Incident, Problem and Change Management.
  • Low Level WebService based Interface design for the integration of HPSM with external partners via middle ware layer.
  • Support for Service Projects, promoting OSS guidelines and principles, concepts, standards in relation to all involved parties  
  • Design and development of HPSM for the functional areas Incident, Problem and Change Mangement and also the CMDB / uCMDB (Configuration Management
  • Design, development and deployment of HPSM for the functional areas Incident, Problem and Change Mangement and also the CMDB / uCMDB (Configuration Management
  • Deployment of HPSM and uCMDB in a cloud environment
  • Consuling of the process owners to guide the design of the process in the way, that company processes are aligned with the OOTB capabilities of HPSM.
  • Low Level Design to integrate HPSM / CMDB with other internal applications which are supporting the e2e assurance process.Event Management, which creates automatically incidents in HPSM
  • Provisioning, which creates new Configuration Items after the provisioning of a new service for a Customer / User
  • Inventory database, loading all relevant Configuration Items towards CMDB
  • Low Level Design to integrate HPSM / CMDB with other internal applications which are supporting the e2e assurance process.
  • Operation of HPSM including 2nd line on duty support

University education (Bachelor's degree)

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

Key Performance Indicators/Key responsabilities and deliverables:
  • Design and development of Service Support Managenent Application based on HPSM incl. integration with external application like Event Management & Inventory Management and other ext. Trouble Ticket applications.
  • Process design of  the main SM-Processes: Incident, Problem and Change Management.
  •  Education:University degree in Technical area (Computer Science, Telecommunication Engineering, Information Systems or related field).
  •  Professional knowledge, skills, know how in the field & experience in the field:Over 5 years of experience in area of ICT, design, development and architecture
  • Strong OSS knowledge and proven experience.
  • Holistic View of Telecommunication Operational Business Processes
  • Design and development knowledge of HPSM incl. CMDB for the main ITIL processes Incident, Problem and Change Management.
  • Design and development of WebService based integration of HPSM with external applications
  • Basic knowledge of a privat / public cloud environment
  • Working in an international organization, cross country and cross culture
  •  Language skills:English language – proficient (excellent verbal and written communication skills)
  • Any additional language from within European DT footprint is beneficial
