Job description:
  • The ICT manager will take an authoritative, pro-active approach in dealing with suppliers, providers and vendors while building strong work relationships. Your role will manage and balance the expectations of the business within the framework of staff and resource limitations
  • While you are informed about latest ICT technologies which may benefit the organization, you make recommendations to the board of directors
  • You are responsible for the implementation, stabilization and continuous improvement of ICT workplace technology for DT Pan-Net employees, in particular Laptops, Desktops, fixed and mobile communication, video conferring.
  • You are the main contact to the ICT outsourcing provider and define, negotiate and control the service level agreements.
  • Identification and management of resources needed for the planning, development and delivery of specified ICT systems services
  • Responsible for change management initiatives, ensuring that the infrastructure is managed to provide agreed levels of service and data integrity
  • Responsible for risk management and effective risk mitigation techniques
  • Planning, developing and implementing the ICT budget and obtaining competitive prices from suppliers to ensure cost effectiveness
  • Responsible for the smooth operation of all ICT systems
  • Ensuring that users adhere to software licensing laws
  • Responsibility for the provision of secure access to the network for remote users under guidance of the VP for security
  • Responsibility to develop and maintain users appropriate support and advice
  • You take responsibility for understanding client requirements, collecting data, delivering analysis and problem resolution. Identifies, evaluates and recommends options, implementing if required

  • Develop strategy, design and implementation of interim and target ICT workplace solutions
  • In time and in budget delivery of ICT setup for legal entities of DT Pan-Net across its european officies.
  • Successful management of stakeholders, suppliers, providers and vendors
  • Successful contract negotiations for ICT workplace solution in given budget
  • Management of heterogeneous, often virtual teams in an international environment
  •  Education:University degree in Technical area  (Computer Science, Telecommunication Engineering, Information Systems or related field)
  • Project management certification (for instance PMP)
  • Service management certification (ITIL)
  • Technical certifications
  •  Professional knowledge, skills, know-how in the field & experience in the field:At least 7 years experience in area of ICT, service and project management
  • You offer defined authority and accountability for actions and decisions within a significant area of work, including technical, financial and quality aspects
  • You are able to establish organisational objectives and assign responsibilities through delegation
  • You have a broad business understanding and are capable to perform highly complex work activities covering technical, financial and quality aspects
  • A good network in DT NatCos in the area of ICT is beneficial
  •  Language skills:English language – proficient (excellent verbal and written communication skills)
  • Any additional language from within European DT footprint is beneficial
  •  Interpersonal, communication skills:Main interfaces for the position: Board of Directors at DT Pan-Net, internal DT Pan-Net employees at all of its legal entities, DT group, external 3rd parties

Brief description of the company

Deutsche Telekom Pan-Net, s.r.o. - established within Pan IP program is a company which will pilot and manage the whole pan-European Network. From Bratislava, this company will be the first point of contact regarding all overarching matters of the national companies with respect to the pan-European Network.
Being the key entry gate for requirements towards Pan-Net portfolio, we will manage a common service production catalogue, establish new processes and operating models, combining assets and resources to create services for the national companies.
To achieve all this we are building a new, cross-functional and truly international team.
