As a Team and Delivery Leader in the BSS domain, you’ll lead a diverse team—primarily focused on application operation of mobile services—through an exciting journey toward a modern target architecture. We're looking for someone with solid knowledge of ITIL, agile principles, AI literacy, and modern engineering skills to guide the team, shape the transformation, and inspire technical growth

Team and Delivery Leader is responsible for disciplinary leadership, leading employees in staff-related and functional terms. The holder of this position is organizing the team of experts with different skill profiles, motivating and enthusing staff, providing feedback, initiating training and further developing staff, promoting talent; and is responsible for overseeing technical solutions and for providing coaching to team members. Assuming responsibility for high-level, complex task fields with a higher level of difficulty due to special/coordination tasks and assuming extensive responsibility for a large operational team area with largely standardized activities. Acts according to valid legislation and Slovak Labor code. Holder of the position will also have a delivery role/assignment- which will be agreed individually based on the candidates skills.

What will you do?

  • Act according to valid legislation and Slovak Labor code.
  • Assume responsibility for high-level, complex task fields with a higher level of difficulty due to special/coordination tasks and assuming extensive responsibility for a large operational team area with largely standardized activities.
  • Ensuring  timely delivery of team objectives.
  • Maintaining high quality in project deliverables.
  • Steering and coordinating the completion of tasks.
  • Optimizing the team area using key performance indicators.
  • Enhancing process efficiency in the team area.
  • Presenting the work results to the next management level up.
  • Carrying out budget planning tasks.
  • Managing  critical situations and resolves escalations to ensure seamless service delivery and efficient service to clients.
  • Leading employees in staff-related and functional terms in accordance with the Group leadership principles.
  • Briefing staff and keeping them informed about general/specific matters.
  • Overseeing technical solutions and provide coaching to team members.
  • Applying the available leadership tools; administratively implementing staff related processes; (pre-)selecting new employees.
  • Organizing the team of experts with different skill profiles, motivating and enthusing staff, providing feedback, initiating training and further developing staff, promoting talents.
  • Managing team structure, workload distribution, and operational methods.
  • Cascading the higher-level strategy into one's own area.
  • Providing conceptual contributions to high-level strategic issues.
  • Collaborating with other stakeholders at the highest levels within the business and manages their expectations on projects.
  • Understanding of industry standards, best practices and methodologies, maintaining and improving technical processes or products.

  • Experience in managing Application operations with a focus on stability, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
  • Proven track record in leading teams through technical and architectural transitions.
  • Technical Literacy – Solid understanding of ITIL practices, agile methodologies, and AI-related trends.
  • Engineering Mindset – Familiarity with modern software engineering practices, automation, and DevOps concepts.
  • Demonstrate expert leadership with a proven ability to manage teams both in-person and virtually, ensuring seamless coordination and goal alignment.
  • Excel at strategic thinking and innovative problem-solving, always pushing for continuous improvement and adapting to business transformations.
  • Have solid experience in cross-country integration and intercultural competence, building strong relationships across different regions, and managing diverse stakeholder expectations.
  • Possess strong emotional intelligence and the ability to navigate complex interpersonal dynamics, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
  • Exhibit advanced financial management skills, particularly in budget management and economic decision-making, ensuring projects stay on track and within budget.
  • Lead with professional understanding and team management skills, ensuring your teams are empowered, motivated, and focused on achieving results.
  • Have a strong grasp of digitalizationproject management, and agile methodologies, applying them to drive successful delivery and meet key performance indicators.
  • Excel in transition and transformation efforts, balancing long-term objectives with an expert focus on customer and market needs.
  • Navigate organizational governance requirements effectively, ensuring alignment with company standards and objectives.
  • Be fluent in English at a C1 level, ensuring clear and concise communication in a global environment.
