What will you do?

• Responsible for planning, designing, and implementing commissioning and operation of complex network systems.
• Identifying and analyzing problems and initiating solutions.
• Designing and implementing commissioning and operation processes.
• Problem identification and documentation using a trouble-ticket system, even in complex system landscapes.
• Initiating escalation procedures in critical problem cases.
• Subject matter expert contact.
• Representing the Network Administration department in cross-functional solution teams.
• Evaluating and assessing new technologies.
• Administering the deployed network and security systems.
• Integrating new customers into existing operational processes.

You will succeed if you:

• have Master's or diploma degree with relevant professional experience or comparable knowledge and skills,
• have at least seven years of professional experience, including at least three years in IT administration,
• are very good customer-oriented, with entrepreneurial thinking and actions, including at the management level,
• are professional, trustworthy, and empathetic demeanor at the management level,
• have highly systematic and structured working style,
• have strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills,
• have high flexibility, resilience, and willingness to perform,
• have very good and broad technical understanding,
• have expert knowledge in the target task area and strong knowledge of related technologies,
• are proficient with the MS Office product suite,
• have strong cooperation, teamwork, and conflict resolution skills.
• speak English on at least B2 level,
• have in-depth knowledge of Coriant components > MEF-CECP certification (Metro Ethernet Forum Professional Certification Program) or Ribbon NTP1/2 Carrier Ethernet training,
• have in-depth knowledge of ECI-Ribbon components > MEF-CECP certification (Metro Ethernet Forum Professional Certification Program) or Ribbon NTP1/2 Carrier Ethernet training,
• have good knowledge of various network topologies (Ethernet, WLAN, etc.),
• have good knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, and MPLS),
• have very good knowledge of Cisco IOS/ACI, CCNA,
• have good knowledge of services such as Multicast, DHCP, DNS, NAT, Tacas, and Radius,
• have very good knowledge of network infrastructures,
• have extensive experience working in project teams,
• have extensive experience working in cross-functional working groups and taskforces.
