What will you do?

Are you interested in Automotive industry? We are looking for Application Manager of application team for the world's oldest car maker using our CECM Solution.
The Business Unit Collaboration and Content Service is focused on and within T-Systems responsible for the CECM portfolio in total, which is an abbreviation for Collaboration and Enterprise Content Management.


CECM is a combination of solutions and services to facilitate the collection, classification, organization, secure storage, and search for all types of content, information, and the overlaying processes. Extended by leading collaboration tools, CECM supports the digital workplace of the future and is an important prerequisite for the digital transformation of our customers and is also very relevant in the post-corona phase to enable the new normal with remote work from the home office and distributed, virtual collaboration models.

General purpose

Application Manager is responsible for the entire life cycle of the application- from the start of operation to the final switch-off: coordinates and steers development and operation, is responsible for compliance with the agreed Service Level Agreements and bears commercial responsibility for budget of the application.

Key accountabilities
  • Filling the role of Application Manager with functional leadership of the Application Team.
  • Managing and optimizing collaboration between responsible teams and roles.
  • Plan and implement measures to improve customer satisfaction of internal and external customers.
  • Ensure and improve robustness, stability, reliability and maintainability of the platform.
  • Ensure that Bugfixes, Enhancements, new features and improvements are implemented tested and deployed into production in a fast, agile, professional and secured way.
  • Ensure a good communication to our customers and requesters.
  • Support and guide project managers on potential risks, dependencies and issues regarding their impact on a successful deployment.
  • Implementation and support of Change Management, Configuration Management and Release Management.

You will succeed if you:

Required Skills (Experience 2 years+ ):
  • University degree (minimum Bachelor)
  • 3+ year in IT field
  • Technical and IT overview in OS, Network, Storage, Back up, Databases, Middleware
  • Project management overview
  • ITIL knowledge
  • Deep knowledge on application business processes
  • Lead abilities
  • Communication skills
  • Organisation skills
  • MS Excel knowledge advanced
