Job description, responsibilities and duties

Purpose

Perform, coordinate and improve most complex activities (3rd level environment) needed to provide IT services on multiplatform environment in order to fulfill relevant KPIs.
Plan, implement and ensure a stable technical environment to support organization’s business processes.
Identify weaknesses in used processes and eliminate them following industry and internal standards.
Provide consultancy for OPM, SDM and customer in multiplatform environment.

Key accountabilities

• Plans, controls and is responsible for complete application-based requests fulfilment.
• Independently diagnose and resolve complex tickets or escalate complex tickets with direct/potential impact related to IT multiplatform environment.
• Restore normal service operation in case of Incident to fulfil SLA/OLA.
• Investigate and document the root cause of complex incidents and then initiate actions to improve or correct the situation.
• Evaluate, authorize, prioritize, plan, test, implement, document and review complex changes in controlled manner or escalate to higher authority.
• Assess actual performance of IT environment against its predicted performance. Any deviations should be identified and proactively remediated, with vendors if necessary.
• Identify weaknesses in used processes and eliminate them following industry and internal standards.
• Propose and perform regular inspections and improvement recommendations.
• Actively looks for possibilities to automate activities in actual multiplatform environment.
• Plan, implement and ensure a stable technical environment to support organization’s business.
• Serve as technical lead to provide clear and comprehensive release and deployment plans.
• Serve as technical lead to assure delivery of the service in critical situations.
• Deliver effective training plans and concepts to train other employees and ensure their fulfilment.
• Mentor administrators to spread knowledge level in the team in all relevant platforms and develop their skills.
• Create and review technical documentation for complex environments.
• Creation and further development of operational concepts and standards.
• Design, develop and implement new technologies/services or upgrades to existing technologies.
• Responsibility for relevant part of change approval in face of all Change Advisory Boards.
• Execute projects and other deliverables in order to fulfil KPIs and management requests.
• Provide consultancy for OPM, SDM and customer in multiplatform environment.
• Work with the Manager of Professional Services to continuously define and improve a wide spectrum of processes utilizedby the Professional Services team.
• Serve as technical lead within the Professional Services organization by acting as the escalation point for issues arising from Customer Support and other functional areas within the company.

Wage (gross)

From 1 450 EUR/monthFinal salary is negotiable. We are offering base salary depending on seniority level and previous experience of candidate. In addition to base salary we provide variable part and other financial benefits. Base salary will not be lower than 1450€ /brutto.

• PAI System Engineer
• PAI, Webshere, DB2, (PostGres), Shell Scripting

Certification
• Expert knowledge and experience with application environment verified by professional level certification exams preferably from multiple vendors
