2 500 EUR/monthFinal salary is negotiable. We are offering base salary depending on seniority level and previous experience of candidate. In addition to base salary we provide variable part and other financial benefits. Base salary will not be lower than 2500€ /brutto.

What will you do?

Purpose

Responsible for the conceptual design, architecture and the technical solution using multiple technologies and corresponding vendors. Guarantees realization, implementation and functionality of the developed solution. The role includes consultancy for potential customer in presales period, analysis of customer demands, conversion of the requirements into a technical specification, evaluation of production costs. Additionally steers the international team of experts in order to deliver solution and to define the SLA’s specifications including the transition and transformation phase to handover solution to support/operational delivery units.

As a Senior Architect Field Service Development, you have a passion for Transformation of Legacy Monoliths to MicroService Features, and you want the IT-Solutions of Deutsche Telekom’s Field Service to carry your signature.
You quickly understand complex IT landscapes and are thirsty to apply your experience in modularization and decoupling of IT, to transform our IT to a state-of-the-art Multi-Speed & robust architecture.

We want you to structure and optimize the IT Architecture. You define functional and technical requirements for software or platforms related to Telecommunication Work orders and Assurance, so that IT solutions and services can be implemented flexibly & reliably with a short time-to-market. You collaborate successfully with business customers & relevant IT experts to shape and improve the IT Architecture & build effective IT solutions. Using agile methods you take responsibility for the evolutionary decoupling & modularization of our IT landscape – via digital microservices for our company. Your essential tasks include:

  • Your focus is to enable & support SCRUM-Development Teams by providing software structure & defining non-functional-requirements
  • ´You are responsible for the end-to-end interaction of components or system functions for the successful work order processing from development thru operations
  • You take responsibility for the implementation of the architecture concepts in product & service development
  • You identify innovations in technology and work actively on application of these in the team, company and the industry as a whole
  • You steer architecture and design activities, perform Trade Off Analyses and make decisions on the best-possible structure for IT solutions
  • You define IT solution concepts (on feature/application, data and interface level), represent these in architecture committees and ensure the flow of information between architecture & development teams
  • You ensure a goal-oriented communication between stakeholders in the functional/business and technical/implementation to create software that fulfills the purpose & meets architecture guardrails.

Qualifications
How do we see you:
You have 5+ years extensive professional experience driving and leading IT architecture projects. Additionally, you possess the following knowledge and capabilities:

  • Technology and method competency in Java Stack development; Java–Spring Boot or Java J2EE, Container, Docker, Kubernetes, and/or Rancher; Microservices, Micro Frontends, Gitlab CI/CD, and Test Frameworks; Quarkus, Kafka, PostgreSQL.
  • Hands-On Experience in the Definition & Development of Assurance Solutions – experience with Graylog Log Monitoring solution is advantageous
  • Outstanding knowledge in software architecture & business processes for Work Order Assurance, Problem Diagnostics or telecommunications Field Service
  • Exceptional experience in working with IT development teams & in traditional and agile cooperation methods
  • Excellent ability in Analysis & documentation of functional and non-functional requirements and structuring these via software architecture
  • Definition and development of an effective and consistent state-of-the-art IT architecture with interdisciplinary teams for Deutsche Telekom's customer segments
  • Proven Team player ideally with intercultural Experience in Near/offshore projects
  • Excellent experience in agile methods (Scrum and SAFe)
  • Excellent English Knowledge in word and writing|script - level C2. German knowledge at least on level C1
