What will you do?

• Design and Develop BI Solutions: Lead the design, development, and implementation of business intelligence solutions, including data models, dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
• Data Integration and ETL: Manage the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to ensure data from various sources is accurately integrated into the BI systems and data warehouse.
• Participate in Building Lakehouse Solutions: Collaborate with the data engineering team to design, develop, and enhance data lakehouse solutions. Integrate structured and unstructured data from various sources into the lakehouse architecture to facilitate advanced analytics and support the organization's data-driven initiatives.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize the performance of BI applications and database queries to ensure efficient and fast data retrieval and reporting.
• Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with business users and stakeholders to understand their reporting needs and translate requirements into effective BI solutions.
• Technology Evaluation: Stay up to date with the latest BI tools, technologies, and industry trends, and evaluate their suitability for the organization's BI needs.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other teams, such as data engineering, data science, and IT, to ensure seamless integration and alignment of BI solutions with overall business strategies.
• Leadership and Mentoring: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior members of the BI development team.

The general purpose of position: Develops new and maintain existing source code of applications in programming language like Java, ASP.Net or C# based on requirements of internal or external customers.

You will succeed if you:

• Are advanced in SQL development: You should possess an in-depth understanding of SQL and be able to design and optimize database structures, write complex queries, and analyze query performance.
• Have advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Business Intelligence stack: You should have extensive experience working with the Microsoft BI stack, including SQL Server, Analysis Services, and Integration Services. You should have experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and report development.
• Are advanced in Agile development methods: You should be proficient in Agile development methodologies and be able to work collaboratively with team members in an Agile environment. You should be comfortable with continuous integration, continuous delivery, and automated testing.
• Have knowledge of cloud solutions: Experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud solutions is a big plus.
• Have experience with automation: Knowledge of Azure’s PowerApps and Power Automate is an advantage.
• Are Proficient in German: Knowledge of German is an advantage, but not mandatory.
• Are fluent in English: You should be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Wage (gross)

From 3 100 EUR/monthFinal salary is negotiable. We are offering base salary depending on seniority level and previous experience of candidate. In addition to base salary we provide variable part and other financial benefits. Base salary will not be lower than 3100€ /brutto. We also provide a sign on bonus of € 5,000 for each candidate hired for this position.
