What will you do?

General description
DevOps Engineer is responsible for entire lifecycle of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment pipelines and Infrastructure as Code approaches. Takes account and defines automated configuration management, release management, build, test and deployment activities.

Key accountabilities

• Designs, develops, tests and implements infrastructure for CI/CD pipelines and IaC.
• Manages source code, configuration management, release management, build and deployment activities.
• Setups and manages integration with partner applications.
• Conducts of performance analyses and tunings as well as error analyses and troubleshooting
• Consults and implements new innovative technologies to satisfy innovation strategy.
• Creates concepts for further automation of services, processes and/or operating models.
• Directly support the project teams in the development, quality assurance accompanying development as well as planning and implementation of product releases

You will succeed if you:

IT technical skills

• Knowledge of using cloud computing services (AWS / AZURE)
• Experience with automated provisioning in the Cloud Computing & Infrastructure as Code environment
• Knowledge of the use of modern technologies in cloud environments (Container/Docker, Kubernetes, Consul, Zookeeper, Kafka, ELK, ...)
• Experience with continuous integration, continuous deployment, build and configuration management, source code and artifact management (e.g. Bamboo, Ansible, Puppet, Bitbucket, Git, Artifactory) tools
• Experience with MySQL and NoSQL DBs (e.g. Cassandra, MongoDB, Redis)
• Advanced knowledge of the scripting languages Python and Ruby to carry out bug fixes and extensions in various areas (e.g. Terra-form, Heat, Cloud Formation, Cookbooks).
• Knowledge of software development and current software architecture trends and technologies (e.g. microservices, 12-factor apps, continuous delivery)
• In-depth knowledge of modern and currently used network protocols and the technical processes required for the various network layers
• Several years of practical experience in the administration of Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu) in the server environment and in dealing with server software and hardware in large productive environments
• Artifactory (binary repository)
• BitBucket, GitHub (repository - versioning and storage configurations)
• Bamboo (deployment automation)
• Confluence (exclusively user management by the Product Manager (PM))
• JIRA (task control)

Wage (gross)

1 650 - 2 550 EUR/monthFinal salary is negotiable. We are offering base salary depending on seniority level and previous experience of candidate. In addition to base salary we provide variable part and other financial benefits. Base salary will not be lower than 1650 brutto.
