Job description, responsibilities and duties

General description
• Performing tasks for systems, applications and products (SAP) independently and autonomously according actual standards.
• General knowledge and ability to support various components of the plug with specialization to certain area. Developing own methods and approaches for assigned area and propagating them in team.
• Independently check, execute, solve and create tickets (change, incident management) in order to maintain service to customers according to given quality standards and internal processes.
• Ability to solve more complex tasks

• Smooth and uninterrupted operation of customers’ environment.
• Investigate the root cause of incidents and initiate actions to improve or correct the situation.
• Independent solving and troubleshooting of incidents and errors within defined expertise.
• Perform team specific non-technical tasks such as quality/process/reporting to support daily operation.
• Train and participate on education of other employees.
• Create and maintain documentation.
• Participate on regular and/or irregular communication with colleagues in an international environment to ensure operational goals.
• Responsibility to participate on team goals.

• Performing maintenance and health checks.
• Event/incident management based on runbook or approved documentation.
• System restarts, move, start/stop systems on different hosts.
• SAP/DB parameter changes.
• Keeping SAP systems running.
• Syslog evaluation for error analysis, problems with printing, interfaces, backups and performance issues.
• Handling and solving DB-Errors (Freespace, Alertlog Errors …).
• Performance monitoring (based on current T-systems Standard methods).
• Scanning and evaluation of Early Watch Alert (EWA).
• Standard change implementation (Kernel/OS/SAP/DB updates and patches).

Wage (gross)

880 EUR/monthFinal salary is negotiable. We are offering base salary depending on seniority level and previous experience of candidate. In addition to base salary we provide variable part and other financial benefits. Base salary will not be lower than 880 EUR/brutto.

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

• 1 year of experience within the field.

• Advanced IT/PC literacy.
• Linux and database administration (HANA, Oracle, MaxDB, DB2,…)
• SAP Technology overview.
• Follow company processes.
• Analytical skills.
• Reliability and holds operational responsibility.
• Ability to work in shifts./Participation on on-call duties.
