Job description, responsibilities and duties

General description
- Perform, coordinate and improve most complex activities (3rd level environment) needed to provide IT services and the supporting infrastructure in order to fulfill relevant KPIs.
- Plan, implement and maintain a stable technical infrastructure to support organization’s business processes.
- Identify weaknesses in used processes and eliminate them following industry and internal standards.
- ICT engineer is technical professional with broad skills that extend beyond the domain of any particular IT silo (such as OS, virtualization, networking or storage) and must possess broad technical skills (like networking, security, scripting, automation and orchestration, configuration management and governance.

Accountabilities
- Perform, coordinate and improve most complex activities needed to provide IT services and the supporting infrastructure in order to fulfill relevant KPIs.
- Ensure strict change and configuration management (including all documentation) across all sites and services.
- Support the Operations team in the execution of routine maintenance, patching and upgrades of infrastructure components and management systems, as well as installation of new hardware and systems.
- Identify the root cause of incidents and initiate actions to improve or correct the situation.
- Act as technical lead, solves and coordinates activities across related technologies.
- Create system documentation for installations, configurations, components and relevant updates.
- Conform with the internal work instructions and process guidelines within T-Systems.
- Diagnose and resolve complex tickets or escalate complex tickets with direct/potential impact related to IT infrastructure.
- Restore normal service operation in case of Incident to fulfill SLA/OLA.
- Investigate the root cause of complex incidents and then initiate actions to improve or correct the situation.
- Evaluate, authorize, prioritize, plan, test, implement, document and review complex changes in controlled manner or escalate to higher authority.
- Assess actual performance of IT infrastructure against its predicted performance. - Any deviations between the two should be understood and proactively remediated, with vendors if necessary.
- Create and maintain technical documentation to support IT service.
- Identify weaknesses in used processes and eliminate them following industry and internal standards.
- Plan, implement and maintain a stable technical infrastructure to support organization’s business.
-Serve as technical lead to provide clear and comprehensive release and deployment plans.
- Deliver effective training plans and concepts to train other employees and ensure their fulfillment.

Wage (gross)

960 EUR/monthMinimum monthly salary is 960 € brutto + variable part of salary + other financial benefits. The final basic wage component can be adjusted accordingly to individual skills and experience of selected candidate.

- University degree
Experience
- 3+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure and/or software development, with special emphasis in areas of networking, application services, and distributed computing;
Languages

- Valid certification in given technology;
- Overview of the ITIL processes and Agile / Scrum Metodology;
- Strong communication, organisational and presentation skills;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities;
- Strong customer service orientation;
- Able to prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment;
- Strong technical documentation skills, able to produce clear and concise documentation;
- Highly self-motivated, organised and disciplined.
