We’re looking for a Regional SmartOperations Administrator and Coordinator (f/m/x) to coordinate the activities around the BUILD and RUN of the SmartOperations roll-out in DHL Supply Chain EMEA, as well as related project coordination activities. These include:
• Coordinate BUILD activities on SmartOperations rollout
• Set up of Facilities and Usergroups in SmartOps (Parent appl.)
• Onboard/ Train in collaboration with local OMS Engineers local SmartOps SuperUsers
• Monitor User management by local teams
• Support SmartOps for Supervisor Academy in collaboration with the local team
• Coordinate activities with other Smart Device user teams (e.g. WS/ SmartScanner) based on agreed collaboration models
• Align with regional IT on required services by regional and local IT teams (initialization, coordination, monitoring)
• Coordinate RUN activities on SmartOperations to keep it sustained
• Keep SmartOps Site Superuser Community and OMS Engineers up to date (coaching, retraining, updates)
• Establish and work with monitoring solutions to drive utilization of SmartOps in EMEA (sites, users, apps, etc.)
• Support countries to regularly have updated visibility on SmartOps utilization
• Review and improve solutions to maintain SmartOps (e.g. user mgt. Concepts, keeping users active, etc.)
• Be involved in building and establishing the SmartOps Operating and Support model (GSN based)
• Maintain, review and improve all processes to run the SmartOps support model (together with regional IT)
• Collaboration on SmartOps Release Mgt. with all required parties (regional IT, global CoE, functional leads, OMS Engineers, etc.)
• Review upcoming release updates to prepare and schedule launch for DSC EMEA
• Initialize and coordinate all activities to prepare new releases (testing, process docs, training, translations, comms)
• Track execution of release updates (in countries and on devices)
• Support and collaborate with functional leads to drive the launch and utilization of SmartOps Apps
• Support functional leads in preparing the launch of new/ updated SmartOps apps (testing, process design, documentation)
• Support functional leads to monitor utilization of SmartOps apps (app by app down to facility level)
• Support regional SmartReM Lead
• Engage with global CoE related to communication, product board, regular meetings with partners/parties, etc.
• Engage in projects of further development and improvement of the SmartOps concept and environment
• Collaborate with OMS FC & SmartReM Implementer Community
• Collaborate with regional IT and functional leads (regular meetings, routines, reporting)
• Make all required reports (regular and on-demand) on SmartOps available
• Ensure availability of basic and key elements to drive SmartOps agenda in DSC EMEA (in strong collaboration with reg. IT)
• Maintain an up-to-date test environment
• Align with all partners/ parties on cross-functional matters (SmartOps as a launcher, ASO, etc.)
• Create and maintain an up-to-date SharePoint platform
• Sustain an up-to-date support model (incl. GSN platform)
• Maintain, track and drive CRI activities (C: Change Requests, R: Risks, I: Issues)
• Collaborate with regional IT to create transparency about the availability of SmartOps devices
• Ensure visibility on available devices (tablets/ handhelds)
• Ensure visibility on SOTI configurations
• Support potential future extension of SmartOperations regarding regional and country applications.
• Coordinate activities together with regional IT to build & establish future SmartOps, that will be of regional or local relevance
• Monitor the corresponding activities to ensure alignment/ compliance with global SmartOps standards

Personality requirements and skills

• Solid operational background in the supply chain industry (min. 3 years)
• Experience in implementing SmartOperations solutions, ideally in SmartOps in DSC (min. 1 year)
• Profound system literacy and process thinking (proven in previous jobs for at least 2-3 years)
• Experience in working closely together within supply chain operations, IT, and Ops Exc functional teams
• Experience in an operational environment is needed (min. 3 years)
• Experience in working in/ with different geographies/ countries
• Training and coaching of individuals in an international environment
• Experience in project management
• Dynamic and goal-orientated way of working; enabling local and functional teams to work accordingly to the regional plans
• The ability to influence without formal authority is important
• Intrinsically motivated and team player
• Solid experience in Operations Excellence and IT
• Strong in operational and administrative process understanding
• Ability and willingness to travel multiple times within the EMEA region (as part of normal business)
