Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
• Build a strong working relationship with all key stakeholders,
• Focus on manually keying the TUs and linking the associated ASNs in SAP,
• Provide KPI's on time to DHL/JLR management for review,
• Provide reports to EU Transport Team to flag potential issues with the plan and data,
• Continually strive to improve the data and information held within the SAP system,
• Agree timescales with Finance, Operations and Planning when new Carrier Tariffs will become effective in the EU transport system,
• Run reports and extract data from SAP to support EU planning and operations,
• Work with all areas of the business to improve data integrity in the SAP system,
• Dealing with customer (Based on customer facility), carriers and interacting with DHL LLP and operational teams in both the UK and EU,
• Responsible for managing all data and information in the SAP system that drives the EU operations team,

• Ensure freight are moved in line with strategic and tactical plans, to deliver best in class transport solutions.

Personality requirements and skills

• Experience of transport management systems,
• Strong and effective organizational skills
• Good degree of computer literacy, with excel, access, word and PowerPoint experience, Technical aptitude in the use of a variety of supporting software tools (SAP, etc.),
• Demonstrable experience of a high standard of commercial awareness and understanding of key costs and drivers within the supply chain,
• Good communication skills,
• Willingness to work on UK Bank Holidays if required.
