Job description, responsibilities and duties
Descartes is looking for Systems Engineer to manage Windows Server environments. In that role, you will be able to:
• Work in a team with members in different locations in Europe
• Manage and support large server environments, both on-prem and in the cloud
• Participate in incident and change management (troubleshoot and executing production changes)
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities are situated in the following domains:
• Operational management of our windows domains and server environments
• Work on different projects related to local Windows Server environments, Azure, and Office365.
• Stay up to date on the latest developments.
• Participate in incident and change management (troubleshoot and executing production changes)
• Share your knowledge with colleagues located around the globe and take initiative to articulate your vision on technical aspects.
• Collaborate on IT initiatives and collaborate with in-house technical staff
• Manage complex server environments, both on premise and in the public cloud
• Work in a team with members in different locations in Europe
