Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are looking for testers who are used to collaborating closely with developers. You'll be able to look at a user story and spot the gaps that nobody has considered yet, be able to come up with ingenious and devious tests that reveal unexpected problems, and work with the developers to get them fixed. You like sharing your knowledge with peers. You're comfortable working in a self-organizing team and taking responsibility for your own work.

As a Software Test Engineer you will be responsible for:
  • designing test plans, defining test cases, preparing test data
  • detecting, recording, reporting and retesting found errors
  • cooperating with the developers and other team members
  • cooperating on maintenance, development and optimization of testing environment
  • reporting incident status, overall testing status and release recommendations to Project Management and Test Lead
  • verifying that all testing documentation is complete and (plans, scripts/cases, pass/fail results) has been stored in the designated location
