Job description, responsibilities and duties


  • Manage end-to-end credit card processing activities within SAP S/4HANA, including authorization, settlement, clearing, and financial posting.
  • Monitor transaction processing and investigate authorization failures, settlement issues, reconciliation discrepancies, and other payment-related exceptions.
  • Reconcile transaction data between SAP and external payment service providers.
  • Maintain and improve credit card processing configurations, integrations, and workflows.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Sales, OTC, RTR, and IT teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Support enhancements, upgrades, and projects related to payment processing solutions.
  • Analyze production issues, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate timely resolution of critical incidents.
  • Support integrations utilizing APIs, IDocs, middleware technologies, and external payment processors.
  • Participate in solution design, testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing activities.
  • Maintain the availability, accuracy, and integrity of credit card transaction data.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and PCI requirements.
  • Document processes, system configurations, and operational procedures.
  • Share knowledge and provide guidance on functional and technical topics.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Personality requirements and skills


  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar SAP Analyst, SAP Support, or SAP Functional role.
  • Experience working with SAP ERP and SAP S/4HANA environments.
  • Strong understanding of SAP credit card processing, including authorization, settlement, clearing, and reconciliation.
  • Knowledge of SAP SD (Sales & Distribution) and SAP FI (Financial Accounting).
  • Experience integrating SAP with external payment processors such as CyberSource, Stripe, SnapPay, or similar platforms.
  • Understanding of end-to-end Order-to-Cash processes and payment transaction flows.
  • Experience troubleshooting payment processing failures, settlement issues, and reconciliation exceptions.
  • Knowledge of SAP integrations utilizing APIs, IDocs, and middleware solutions.
  • Understanding of PCI compliance requirements and secure payment card data handling.
  • Experience supporting testing activities, including unit testing, integration testing, and UAT.
  • Familiarity with SAP Fiori applications is an advantage.
  • Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticket management tools is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and shifting demands.
  • Ability to communicate complex topics clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
