Manager – GBS Finance Continuous Improvement

The Finance Global Business Services organization provides a suite of services to the Dentsply Sirona businesses. This position leads the Global GBS Continuous Improvement Process.  This position will collaborate on largescale initiatives with the global Data and Analytics organization and stand up all required metrics and KPIs to support GBS operations.   This role will own monthly metrics, KPIs and dashboards for the 3 main GBS processes, ITC, ITP and RTR.  Team will evaluate best way to collect requirements, data and be a strong business partner to IT.

Key responsibilities

• Develops the vision and strategy for the overall GBS continuous improvement culture. This should consider all aspects of the operating model including performance targets, process, people, service delivery model, technology, data, and reporting in Power BI.
• Lead the GBS engagement in the CoE and be an active partner to Global Data & Analytics team by gathering and managing new ideas, business requests and implementation of reports so support GBS business needs.
• Manages team of CI Analyst.. Frequently advises team(s) on moderately complex matters.
• Collaborates with global process owners on the performance management process, sets performance and development goals, regularly provides feedback and leads  performance improvement initiatives as needed.
• Properly plans, organizes and controls/ reviews activities of the team, provides feedback as necessary

• Plans and executes the global projects and/or the global deployment of new BI and Automation functionality, future upgrades, or patch releases for process enabling technologies
• Provides specialized advice globally to the respective business units and pillars when evaluating technology solutions to optimize or streamline business functions and/or resolve process problems
• Develops a culture of continuous improvement, adherence, and proactively proposes enhancement to Global Standards 
• Defines and monitors Metrics and KPI’s to identify and address/improve performance gaps and improvement opportunities
• Leads overall tools training strategy, needs assessment, and development of training curriculum and materials for the GBS processes and technology platform(s)
• Provides specific deep subject matter expertise to all relevant business units in conducting complex and advanced technical application process support

• Accountable for the Continuous improvement Operations, for quality and cost effectiveness of the solution service within Enterprise process domain
• Maintains and manages process portfolio and ensures alignment and integration with all  Global Process Owners
• Maintains effective and cooperative working relationships with business owners, IT staff, project management team, Corporate Executive Team, and vendors
• Conducts, participates, and advises in executive level presentations, overviews, meetings, workshops, and other business decision-making activities

Personality requirements and skills

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Knowledge of Transition methodology
• Ability to collaborate with a team that has a fast-moving and diverse portfolio
• Experience in business/industry (beyond GBS), managing cross-functional teams or projects, and influencing senior-level management and key stakeholders
• Strong leadership capability, executing as appropriate in the areas of responsibility
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technology solutions in business terms, establish rapport, and persuade other
• Knowledge of Power BI
• Knowledge of RPA and AI (preferred)
• ERP knowledge of SAP, Movex and AX (preferred)

• Demonstrated leadership skills to guide and influence stakeholders, in addition to being a People Manager.
• Excellent Communicator and Negotiator
• Ability to influence stakeholders on all levels of organization, gain their commitment and buy in for different improvement projects
• Proven experience in program implementation including but not limited to, technology tools, policies, and talent assessment
• Exceptional written, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Strong planning and organizational skills
• A positive approach and a can-do attitude in a fast-paced environment.
