Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
• Support in the preparation of VAT and CIT returns (including installment calculation, data collection, contact to tax advisors)
• Preparation of statistical reports and other accounting/tax-related reports
• Support in the documentation of intercompany transactions
• Initiation of tax and duty payments for several Austrian companies
• Collection and management of various contracts, apostilles and extracts in close cooperation with notaries and authorities
• Support in requests from Austrian tax authorities, tax auditors, internal and external GAAP audits
• Preparation of statistical reports and other accounting/tax-related reports

• Support in requests from Austrian tax authorities, tax auditors, internal and external GAAP audits

Personality requirements and skills
• Bachelor’s Degree in business or accounting or other related discipline is required, ideally with a focus on Taxes.
• A Masters degree or other post-grad accreditation in Finance or Business Administration is preferred.
• Alternatively: commercial education with additional specific Tax/Accounting related qualifications/certification
• Several years of relevant experience in tax consulting or in the accounting/tax department of a group
• Expertise in the field of VAT, basic knowledge in the field of corporate income tax, Austrian GAAP and compliance
• Experience in document and contract management
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as SAP, Microsoft AX
• Proven ability to effectively collaborate across functional disciplines and geographies and to effectively communicate with a variety of stakeholders
• Excellent written and oral German skills
• Very good English skills
• Motivated self-starter with strong interpersonal skills
• Affinity for numbers, accuracy, analytical thinking
