Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
As Indirect Operational Buyer, you’ll perform duties relating to the purchasing of indirect items for different production sites and RCO’s and help contribute to the strategic objectives of Global Procurement.
- Creation of Purchase orders based on preferred supplier definition provided by (global or regional) Category Manager or defined by Strategic Buyer supporting also the on-time delivery of goods and services
- Clarification of (invoice) discrepancies with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Assistance with suppliers onboarding
- Support for departments regarding compliance with FDA, ISO, SOX and all other regulatory requirements
- Assistance on cost savings initiatives
- Reconciliation of invoices & goods received/not invoiced issues
- Support for Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs for internal audits by notified bodies
- Support for Strategic Buyers with preparing/sending out Request for Quote (RFQ) packages, specifications, analysis of bids as well as vendor management activities

- Proficient computer skills (MRP, Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Power Point)
- Strong organizational skills with proven ability to manage multiple priorities while consistently meeting deadlines
- Ability to pay attention to details while keeping the big picture
- Proven success working in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams
- Very good communication skills in English (C1 min.); another European language would be a plus
